Aarón Álvarez
Aarón Álvarez, born in Granada, Nicaragua, to René and Zaira Álvarez, is the grandson of Carlos Arana, a composer, radio, and theater writer, and Ena Marenco Guttmann, a singer and dancer of diverse heritage. His journey in the entertainment world began with performing for his neighborhood friends at a young age, a testament to his early passion for the arts and music. This dedication has always been a significant part of his life, even when he had to move from Nicaragua to New York City due to political and religious persecution. Throughout his career, Aarón has been a dedicated force in the music and arts industry. Starting as a college radio producer and host, he soon made his mark in commercial radio in NYC. His exceptional talent and interview style opened doors to work with major music labels, including Sony Music, Warner Music, BMG, and Universal, as well as indie music labels. His significant role in the success of many artists, including Ricky Martin, Shakira, Calle 13, Café Tacuba, Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, and numerous others, is a source of pride for him and his fans. These achievements were a result of his early years as a young and ambitious musician, actor, and hardworking individual. Aarón Álvarez was inspired by a local neighbor, co-worker, and friend of the actor Peter Facinelli, known for his performances in films like "Can't Hardly Wait," the TV series "Nurse Jackie," "Fastlane," "Twilight," and "The Scorpion King and other films. At the beginning of his career in the film industry, Aarón Álvarez participated in and worked as a background actor, stand-in, and body double in films such as "Down To Earth" with Chris Rock, produced by Paramount Pictures, and "Carlito's Way" with Al Pacino and Sean Penn. He has also appeared in TV series such as OZ on HBO, "Law & Order," "Sex and the City", and other indie films in NYC. After a successful career in the Latin music scene in the US and abroad, Aarón Álvarez continues to pursue his acting and film career. His journey is a testament to the power of passion and the pursuit of dreams. He continues to travel between Atlanta, NYC, LA, and Miami as an actor and film student, contributing to various projects in the film industry in the Atlanta area and working on his TV and film studies in LA and the Georgia Film Academy.
