Kaustav Gupta, is an Indian actor, writer and director. He is a famous and dedicated theatre practitioner from Kolkata since last 8years and a *Scholar under Young Artist Scholarship (Minister of Culture, Govt Of India).* He has performed in many plays that include Adhyas (solo), Lead actor in Oedipus and Urubhangam, Nag nagini Katha, Kanka o leela (performed in NSD) and Urubhangam He is the first Indian actor who performed the lead in Psychosis (Inspired by Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis), He has directed and reconstructed the play Dr. Faustus. *Trained in Chhau (Purulia), Kalaripayattu and Kutiyattam.
