Alexandre NGUYEN

A French actor of Vietnamese heritage, I was born in the “land of Molière” and have since become an emerging presence on the international stage. My innate talent, magnetic screen presence, and unwavering dedication have paved the way toward becoming a prominent figure in the industry. A true global citizen, I have a profound love for cinema and culture, which has taken me across five countries and three continents (Canada, the UK, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China). These diverse experiences have deeply enriched my imagination and worldview, bringing depth and authenticity to my performances. In my early career, I faced the challenges that many artists encounter, yet collaborations with industry professionals—producers, directors—provided the inspiration and encouragement I needed to push forward. Determined to excel, I pursued rigorous acting training at renowned institutions such as the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles and Laboratory Game Solid Milk in Paris. Under the mentorship of Carole Proswoski, I continue to hone my craft, dedicated to pushing beyond my comfort zone. To enhance my physical capabilities, I have also pursued intensive stunt training with U-Men Stunt and esteemed stunt coordinator Manu Lanzi. This physical training has become integral to my performances in action-driven roles, allowing me to embody my characters with both agility and realism. My filmography includes roles in notable projects such as Life, directed by Daniel Espinosa, End of a Gun by Keoni Waxman, and the National Geographic TV series Origins: The Journey of Humankind, directed by Simon George. I also portrayed Ho Chi Minh in 18 – Clash Of Futures, directed by Jan Peter & Frédéric Goupil. In the acclaimed Vietnamese action thriller 578: Magnum, directed by Dung Luong Dinh, I took on the lead role, earning praise from industry figures, including Mike Newell, director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, who applauded my emotional depth, combat skill, and ability to fully immerse the audience in my character’s journey. Most recently, I starred in To the North, directed by Mihai Mincan. This film brought me critical acclaim, further establishing me as a dynamic actor capable of portraying profound emotion and complexity.
