Anish Selar
Anish Selar [uh-neesh shay-larr] was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 3, 2000 and grew up in the nearby suburb of Mason, Ohio. Selar has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati. He has always had an affinity towards performing, whether it was playing violin or acting. He got his first taste of acting in front of an audience while performing a play for Sunday School at the age of 12, playing the role of Bheem in the story of the 5 brothers known as the Pandavas who get exiled, based on an excerpt from the Hindu mythological epic The Mahabharata. In high school, Anish took part in the Speech & Debate club doing the events: Humorous Interpretation and Declamation. This gave exposure to performing comedy monologues, excerpts from plays and developing oral skills. In 2024, he studied Acting in a Summer Intensive at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC under instructor Alex Pepperman. Currently Selar is on a path to pursue film/tv projects to break into the industry and gain experience with as many people as possible.
