April Gelly is an Argentine born actress/singer currently living in NYC. She got her BFA in Musical Theatre at Cal State and mastered her craft in Buenos Aires , Argentina with top professionals. She worked in community and regional plays in California and then had a successful career as a recording artist in South America. She returned to the theater in 2020 staring in productions such as Sister Act, Rock of Ages, Nine and others. In 2023 she started touring with Encanto as Luisa. After completing the tour contract she decided to move back to New York where she freshened up her training at The Barrow Group , T Shreider, the Innovative Voice Studio and coaches Anne L Nathan and Merri Sugarman.
