Ashley Hemmings

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, I moved to the United States in 1992. After graduating from high school in 2000, I joined the US Navy and served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing my military service, I attended the Art Institute and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation. I discovered my love for acting in 2017 and took various acting classes with different acting coaches that year. The one acting coach who stood out to me is Sara Rogers, who teaches Improv, Scenes, Camera classes, and public speaking. She has had a profound impact on my acting career. I have been in various commercials, featured films, independent films, and theater. I have been on the journey of honing my craft as an actor. On the way, I have discovered voice acting and have created my own voice-over home studio. For the past two years, I have gained some voice acting experience. Mostly in audiobook narrations. I am also an author and have sold several books.
