Create your actor website on ActorCV

Hi Tind, tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m an actress and filmmaker from Stockholm, Sweden. I started acting as a kid, and later in my career I have also been working behind the camera in different positions.

When did you decide to be an actor?

When I got my first big part in a movie I was nine years old. I remember getting the call early in the morning after several callbacks. I was so excited but couldn’t share it with anyone at first because my family was still asleep. I was just running around in circles outside and I couldn’t wait for the script to arrive in the mail (an actual paper copy). Once I got it in my hands was the first time it felt real.

Filming “Elina - as if I wasn’t there” was such a magical experience. There were so many other kids on set, and we were mostly filming outdoors in the north of Sweden, which is just so beautiful. It was the first time I experienced playing under imaginary circumstances, acting, and I really fell in love with it then and there.

How has ActorCV helped you?

A huge part of working as an actor is applying for jobs; reaching out to agents and casting directors. I felt like I had to spend so much unnecessary time putting together emails with all the information about myself before I started using ActorCV. Now I simply attach a link to my own professional website and voila!

Do you have any advice for people just starting their acting career?

Oh, there’s just so much you can do at the start of your career!

Make sure to have some professional headshots taken that represents you and your unique expression. I would also do some kind of class; research the different philosophies of acting like Stella Adler, Meisner technique or Method acting (just to name a few) and see which resonate with you. It doesn’t have to be a full blown program, you can start with a shorter introduction class or workshop. I would also sign up for free websites where productions are looking for extras and smaller parts and apply for as many of those as possible. And last but not least, create your own actorcv.me.
