Breshna Hamid is a producer based in Europe, working across international film and television. With a strong cross-cultural perspective, she specializes in developing and producing stories that move between borders and connect diverse audiences. Fluent in English, German, Dari/Pashto, Hindi and Urdu, she navigates international collaborations with ease. Driven to challenge stereotypes, she is committed to bringing bold, justice-driven stories to the screen and amplifying underrepresented voices through her work. Currently, she is developing a documentary project focused on the lives of Afghan women, exploring their resilience, resistance, and everyday realities under rapidly shifting political and social conditions. The film sheds light on the restrictions placed on women’s education, work, and freedom of movement, while centering deeply personal stories of courage, creativity, and quiet defiance. Through an intimate, human lens, the project aims to challenge simplified narratives and offer a nuanced portrayal of women who continue to shape their identities and futures despite systemic barriers.
