Chris Logan Carter
Born and raised in Southwest Ohio, Chris Logan Carter is a regional actor whose performance spans musical theatre, physical comedy, historical drama, and narrative storytelling. From 2018 through 2020, he toured Bah Humbug!, a one-person adaptation of A Christmas Carol, originally conceived by J. Damian Gillen in 2002. This revival earned the 2019 BroadwayWorld Cincinnati Best New Play award and was filmed for Broadway on Demand in 2020. Theatrical credits continue with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr. (Sam the Snowman), Madagascar: A Musical Adventure (King Julien), Cinderella (Pearl, an original role in a pantomime adaptation), The SpongeBob Musical (SpongeBob SquarePants), The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow), and Young Frankenstein (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein). Interdisciplinary credits feature Beethoven Reconstructed (Ludwig van Beethoven) with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra alongside pianist Awadagin Pratt, Goldilocks & the Three Dinosaurs (Narrator) with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra's Lollipops Family Concerts, The Importance of Being Oscar (Samuel Flickinger) with Cincinnati Opera's Underscore Series Premiere, and a staged reading of One Voice: The Marian Anderson Musical (various) with Liquid Theatre Collective, directed by Tamara Tunie. On-camera credits include Pulse, Harris Creative Co., Mills James Productions, Childe Studios, and Spotted Yeti Media, with brand campaigns on Meta, Samsung, Windows Plus, WeatherPod, Denver Mattress, and Savvas Learning. His versatility continues offstage into arts integration, medical simulation, and social-emotional development. As a standardized patient for local healthcare education programs, he helps future healthcare professionals practice clinical skills through simulated encounters. When he’s not working, he gravitates towards curious podcasts, like the science-centric Ologies and StarTalk Radio, or the haunting mysteries of Lore.
