Christopher Werner

Christopher Werner

Christopher Werner is an actor of considerable talent. Trained in New York by renowned acting teachers—first Warren Robertson (“Ah, nervousness! That's a sign of sensitivity!”) and later John Strasberg—Christopher learned on his feet, appearing in productions of Comeback to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, I Am a Camera, and The Delusions of Angels. Taking a break to recover and heal from a traumatic injury (“My jaw was broken and wired shut. I survived on chocolate milk for 8 weeks”), Christopher explored poetry writing workshops and guitar lessons (“I think I was searching for my voice”). He slowly worked his way back into acting by way of Temple University films, becoming a semi-regular and acting in several student films, including The Persistence of Memory and Motive. He continued to study and completed the Meisner technique program at the Ward Studio with the late Wendy Ward. Shortly after, Christopher took another break to help care for his aging parents (“The best thing I ever did.”), moving back to New York City to pursue acting full-time in 2019. His life experience and desire to continue growing have informed his work, giving it a thoughtful, humorous, and spontaneous edge, making Chris a perfectly willing collaborator
