ACTOR, WRITER, COMEDIAN & STORYTELLER Daniel Thomas is an Australian artist based in Germany, working across film, audio, and live performance. Born in Birmingham and raised in Melbourne, Danny's path has taken him from architecture to touring as a drummer in the UK, before eventually settling in Hamburg. His creative work is shaped by a life of reinvention and cross culture. In 2020, he was nominated for Best Leading Actor at the London International Indie Film Festival, while his comedic pilot Tippy Top, which he wrote, directed, and starred in, received recognition at several European online film festivals. Danny is the host of Danny Thomas Notices Things, an observational storytelling podcast exploring the strange, absurd, and unexpected details of everyday life, and co-host of Wolf Cub Film Club, a film review show with his father. His projects are produced through The Splice. Currently, Danny is performing stand-up comedy while producing an audio documentary series honouring his mother's legacy.
