Dianella Connell

Dianella Connell is a versatile Canberra-based performer with a strong foundation in theater and physical performance. She has demonstrated her range in leading roles, such as Cinderella in *Holka Polka*, and has contributed to the Canberra Theatre as both an actor and production manager under the direction of Christopher Maher. Beyond traditional stage work, Dianella has experience in voice-over for online projects and specialized simulation acting, where she portrays high-energy, chaotic characters for St. John’s Ambulance training. Dianella’s craft is supported by formal training, including screen acting workshops with Ruth Pieloor and master drama classes at Telopea Park School. A highly active individual, she brings a diverse set of skills to her work, ranging from intermediate Taekwondo and belly dancing to advanced badminton and professional content creation. She is also a musician, playing both drums and piano, and possesses intermediate proficiency in Japanese.
