Ellen Ingeroth
Ellen Ingeroth is a trained actor from the advanced acting program at Balettakademien in Stockholm. During her time there, she played roles like Julie in Miss Julie and Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She also worked as an assistant director to Erik Ehn on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and initiated her own artistic project – Fröken Lazarus – a reinterpretation and translation of Sylvia Plath’s poem Lady Lazarus. The training included a wide range of disciplines, from acting for film and improvisation to clowning, voice and speech, viewpoints, and movement. She also studied dramaturgy, text analysis, and worked with scenes from both classical and contemporary plays under the guidance of experienced directors and teachers from the industry. With a background in dance, Ellen has spent the year developing her craft in close collaboration with professional actors, directors, and pedagogues. Her work is known for its precision with language, strong stage presence, and a deep curiosity to explore both timeless classics and modern stories.
