Emilia Puustinen
Emilia Puustinen is a bilingual Finnish actor based in Berlin. She is a trained singer with roots in musical theatre. She is a versatile and sensitive performer whose passion for psychology informs her work with depth, precision and emotional nuance. During her studies at Catalyst, she strengthened her skills both on stage and on screen, also writing and developing two original projects, where she showcased her skills in writing, acting and singing. Emilia enjoys portraying complex and flawed characters, believing that there is strength in vulnerability. She is drawn to naturalistic storytelling, finding beauty in the mundanity and small details of everyday life. Before moving to Berlin she studied theatre in Jyväskylä, Finland, where she also completed foundational studies in drama education. With her strong emotional presence and nordic sense of humor, Emilia is excited to explore diverse, unapologetically queer narratives with passion and dedication to her craft.
