About : Mark Fernandes is a Passionate Theatre and Film artist . Residents of the beautiful Island of Goa known as “CHORAO” . Fernandes has started his Theatre Career right from his childhood by presenting and participating in a local Commercial art style of Goa called “Tiart “. These immense him and further he continued his profession into Theatre , Art and Films , He has Completed his one year Diploma course at “Kala Academy School of Drama” at Panjim , Goa . He further completed his (BPA ) bachelors of Performing Arts , a four year graduation degree at Kala Academy Goa’s college of theatre Arts . Soon after that he pursed his Masters in Dramatic Arts , at prestigious institute of Rabindranath Tagore university at Tagore National School of Drama at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh . Fernandes’s aim is to learn and explore the number of Theatre Practices, Making understand and working for Theatre makes him more enjoyable . Understanding the theatre in every fields of Education , Community or amongst the Common man is his major objective . He has been working and understanding the Theatre in education , His aim is to implement the theatre in education in a professional manner in every educational sector. Mark fernandes is a keen practitioner of stage scenography . He is been practising and working as a Makeup artist for stage and films . Light design also plays a major role for him , He has been worked in many Renowned projects for stage lighting and film . He has also worked and been working for stage craft and designing , where he also worked in many films as an Art director and has explored most of the behind the camera work. He has been continuously working as an Actor for Stage . His major production as An Actor are :- 1- “ Ade Adure “ a play by Mohan Rakesh Directed by NSD alumni late Professor Afsahr Huseen. 2 - “ Three Penny Opera “ a play by Bertolt Brecht directed by Shridhat Kamat Bambolkar. 3 - “ Pritam Piyare “ play design and directed by NSD alumni Professor Kannaya Lal Kethwas . 4 - “ Andorra ” a play by Max Frisch direction and design by NSD alumni Avijet Solanki . 5 -“ Mahapur “ a play by Satish Alekar direction and design By NSD alumni Anirudh Khutwad. 6 -“ Karnabharam “a play by Bhasa design and direction by Manoj Nayar . 7- “Raja ki muhar “ Bundeli folk play directed by NSD alumni Professor Loken Trivedi. 8 - “ Tasher Desh ” a play Rabindranath Tagore directed and design by Manoj Nayar . 9 -“ Lehero ke Rajuhans” a play by Mohan Rakesh 10 - “ Sangeet Ahileyodhar “ - a play by Krishnam bhatt bankar design and direction by late Sir Vijaykumar Naik . 11- “ Face offline “ a play designed and direction by Dr.Saiesh Deshpande. 12-He has performed more in more than Ten commercial Drama in the local languag in Goa . 13 - He has performed in may short plays , street plays , full length plays .
