Hera Güneş Barlowe
Hera Güneş Barlowe is a Turkish actor, artist, and writer, based in New York City, originally from Istanbul. Known for her versatility and global perspective, she is passionately dedicated to using her voice to create awareness for issues affecting women, immigrants, and the environment. Recent Off-Broadway credits: Dream On Baranksy (The American Theatre of Actors), Big Wave (TADA!). Other recent theater credits: Stain (The Tank), Radium Girls (Mannie Greenfield Theatre), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Lester Martin Theatre), Miss Julie (AADA). On Screen: Through The Window (Half a Heart Productions), Manifesto (Creandi Media LLC), Arada (Short Film). Currently in Production: Splinted (Short Film), Khushu (Short Film), Inside (The Sunny Times LLC) She is a proud member of the AEA. She received her AOS Conservatory Degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, with a Merit Grant. Raised on film sets with her director parents, Hera developed an early understanding of the hard work that the craft requires and the nuances of working on set.
