Joseph Chipanga

I am a born‑again trained actor who began studying acting and modeling between 1997 and 1999 under the tutelage of Mr. Goldstein Takavarasha at Conbred Productions. During the same period, I also pursued bodybuilding and martial arts at Empire Gym to ensure physical fitness for demanding acting roles requiring strength and flexibility. In 2000, I briefly studied music theory (Grades 1–2) under the guidance of the late Mr. Martin Mapaso and the late Dumi Ngulube. Unfortunately, economic challenges forced me to discontinue and focus on family responsibilities. In 2009, I featured in the documentary film Sisterly Reflections and Brotherly Confessions watch here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5FejKCUlqw&utm_source=copilot.com. Later, in 2018, I enrolled at the School of Theatre, completing studies from Certificate to Advanced levels under Dr. Robert (Mshengu) McClaren and CHIPAWO through New Horizon Productions. Under Dr. McClaren’s direction, I performed in the theatre production The Tree, portraying Uncle Tshipo. Additionally, I have worked as a model, appearing in an advertisement for Econet Lifestyle.
