Jon Liggett
Jon Liggett, known professionally as Yawn, is an American-trained actor and creative professional based in Hollywood, with deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area arts scene. He honed his craft through formal training at Foothill College Conservatory, American Conservatory Theater (ACT) in San Francisco, Bennit Theater Lab, and earned his theater degree from San Francisco State University, developing a foundation grounded in classical technique, ensemble work, and character-driven performance. On screen, Jon appeared alongside Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries 2. Off camera, he served as assistant director on a short film that premiered at the 2006 Reeling Film Festival in Chicago. As a professional voice-over artist, he is known for his command of dialects, character voices, and tonal precision. In recent years, Jon founded Magoo’s Umbrella Productions LLC, narrated the audiobook series Dance of the Goblins, and portrayed the character Celery in the indie feature The Holy Trinity. He is currently working on the comedy series Periwinkle’s, set in a Malibu restaurant staffed by a colorful cast selling cannabis-infused cuisine.
