Joshua Knight
Joshua Knight is a Brooklyn-based actor and BFA Acting student at Brooklyn College. He is drawn to bold, text-driven work that explores identity, power, and human contradiction. His training emphasizes text analysis, vocal and physical technique, and ensemble-based performance. Joshua’s recent work includes Lincoln in Topdog/Underdog, where he explored themes of history, performance, and survival through Suzan-Lori Parks’ language. He has also worked extensively on classical and contemporary texts, including Romeo and Juliet, The Glass Menagerie, and Fun Home. In addition to acting, Joshua has experience in theatrical collaboration and design, giving him a strong sense of spatial storytelling and production process. Committed to growth through persistence and practice, Joshua approaches his work with curiosity, discipline, and a deep respect for the story being told.
