Kudzai K Madangwa

Kudzai K Madangwa is a versatile Harare-based actor and filmmaker with a strong foundation in both screen acting and production. Madangwa is the first and only screen acting lecturer at tertiary institution in Zimbabwe. A recipient of film a scholarship from CineArts Academy (USA) and the Varsity Film Expo (ZIM), Kudzai holds a Diploma in Filmmaking and has further honed his craft through the MultiChoice Talent Factory masterclasses and specialized screen acting training at Insight Media House. Kudzai has established a significant presence in the Zimbabwean film and television industry, frequently cast in leading roles. His notable credits include starring roles in the television series *Ngoda* and *Chipo the Gift*, as well as the feature film *Bako* and the short film *Murindagomo*. His range extends to the stage, where he has showcased his talents as a poet, dancer, and singer in theatrical productions such as *Nehanda Nyakasikana* and *My Cuba*. He is the co-creator of the Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards [ZAFTA's]. He is also the founder of the National Guild of Screen and Stage Actors of Zimbabwe [NAGUSSAZ] A highly skilled and physical performer, Kudzai is an expert in improvisation and an advanced voice actor. He brings a unique set of auxiliary skills to his work, including events planning, brand management, production management, and film/tv production.
