Lars Loofboro
Lars J Loofboro is an actor based out of Lansing, Michigan from Wink Talent Agency. He has a BA for Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University. Two of the highlights working directly with Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie, The Resident, Marry Me) in a stage production of Pyscho Beach Party. Also, Lars attended an Acting for the Camera Workshop with Wallem. As a student in the theatre program at WMU he took a course with Kelli Simpkins from the Tectonic Theatre Workshop using the moment work that was used in developing of the Laramie Project. Currently, Lars is taking a master class in acting with Rich Goteri from Goteri Creative Arts. He has a diverse resume with over 100 productions in theatre, film, and industrials in the last 40 years throughout Michigan. Recent theatre credits include Oliver, Sister Act, Chicago, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Episodic Life, Step Three, Leading Ladies, Blithe Spirit, and The Boys in the Band. Recent film credits are, Sugar Boys, Wendigo and the Wicca; Thirst for Life, Detroit Dawg: Rise of the Doberman, Idle Hands, Monday Doesn't Exist, Within the Shadows, The Dark Side of Beautiful, Lingering Twilight, Blindly in Love, Scruggs' Christmas Carol (sort of), The Rapture Chronicles, Street Legal South, Sender, The Bird Flies, Phish Tales: Axis Run, Meadowlark, Massage Madness, and Moving Pieces. Some of the films stream on Fawesome, Vimeo, Tubi and Amazon Prime. Big Dog, Black Devil, Freya, 1972, Muriel & Joyce 2: La Que Hay, Whisperer, and The Forsaken Few are booked for 2025-2026.
