Mason Doherty

Mason Doherty (he/him) is an Australian musical theatre performer based in Sydney. Passionate about theatre from a young age, Mason has built experience performing in a range of stage productions across community theatre and school productions, developing his skills as both a character actor and musical theatre performer. Mason is currently in Dare to Dream Jr: A Musical Revue as Player 2. His recent theatre credits include Mr. Mayor in Seussical Jr: The Musical with Anderson Production Company, White Rabbit / Guard in Shrek: The Musical at Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, and Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The New Musical with Camden Musical Society. Earlier in his performing career, Mason was part of the Featured Ensemble in Frozen Jr. The Musical with Campbelltown Theatre Group. Through these productions, Mason has developed experience performing in both principal and ensemble roles, building confidence on stage and a strong understanding of storytelling through musical theatre. He enjoys bringing energetic and expressive characters to life while maintaining strong acting choices and connection with the audience. Mason studies Drama at Campbelltown Performing Arts High School and continues his training in singing at Twiner-Anderson Dance Studio, developing his performance skills in musical theatre and stage productions. Known for his enthusiasm, dedication, and strong work ethic, Mason is passionate about continuing to grow as a performer and expanding his experience in musical theatre and live performance.
