Mayuri Ravindra

I am an actor with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to bringing authenticity and depth to every role I take on. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working across various theatre and film projects, gaining experience in both classical and contemporary works. I trained at Drama School Mumbai, where I honed my craft in acting, voice, and movement. Notable roles I’ve portrayed include Kriti in the short film Temporary, where I played a sheltered young girl navigating life in Mumbai for the first time, realizing that the support she sought from a familiar face isn't what she needs and learning to break free from dependency. I also portrayed Pooja in the short film It's OK, a girl from a conservative family struggling to balance college life and friendships while dealing with family tensions between her parents. Additionally, I’ve explored diverse characters such as Baby in Yatnaghar by Mahesh Elkunchwar, acted in over 10 plays, and written and co-directed several. I was part of the NCPA production Every Good Boy Deserves Favor as a dancer and have worked as an assistant director and movement director for the NCPA Connections Festival. Currently, I’m performing in the three-woman theatrical clowning show-Hang in There! by PBT. In addition to my formal training, I have developed a strong skill set in Kathak, Clowning and Yoga and I bring a unique versatility to my performances, allowing me to approach each character with fresh energy and emotional truth. What sets me apart? I have an innate curiosity for characters that feel real and raw, and a relentless drive to uncover what makes them tick.
