I'm currently retired from my day job as a Healthcare Administrator and ready to spread my wings to the world of acting. I am in the third act of my life, and happy that I can finally focus on myself and my personal interests. I entered this profession in order to explore my creativity and as an avenue to engage in the art of self-expression. Roles that may come more natural to me based on my family history and life experience include, but are are not limited to: Queen African Queen Mother CEO/Executive Healthcare Administrator Professor Teacher Mentor Counselor Wife Mother Grandmother Pet Lover Patient Caregiver Child to an aging parent Senior Advocate Chef World Traveler I spent quite a reasonable amount of time in day-to-day healthcare operations managing clinicians and administrative staff in senior care facilities, mainly in Texas and Arkansas. I have been a wife, a mom to one adult daughter, and a grandmother to my two precious grandchildren. I've always had the desire to help fellow students and this trait carried off to mentoring others in my career whenever necessary. My love for older adults (Geriatrics/senior care & advocacy) population led me to a career path that enabled me to advocate for the vulnerable population I deeply cherish. This will always be a part of me.
