Merey Batyrbek

Merey Batyrbek is a Kazakhstan-born actress based between Kazakhstan and Hungary, working across film, television, and commercial productions. With a background in acting, fashion, and creative production, she brings emotional authenticity, adaptability, and a strong visual awareness to every role. Alongside her acting career, Merey has worked as an Art Director, Stylist, and Backstage Manager at Budapest Central European Fashion Week, collaborating with production and creative teams on live runway shows. Her experience in fashion and visual storytelling has strengthened her understanding of character, movement, and on-set collaboration. Before focusing on acting, she worked in creative production and business development, developing brand strategies, producing digital content, and managing client projects. This multidisciplinary background has shaped her collaborative approach and ability to thrive in fast-paced production environments. Merey holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management from Óbuda University in Budapest. She is fluent in English (C2) and a native speaker of Russian and Kazakh.
