Seun Samson Oluokun

Oluokun Seun Samson is a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, painting, drawing, installation and video. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Fine Art at the University of East London, United Kingdom. His practice is rooted in observations of his environment and the social realities that shape everyday life. He explores overlooked people, experiences, objects and narratives, translating his observations through traditional and contemporary media. Samson has participated in exhibitions, workshops and art symposiums and has received awards for his artistic practice. His current MFA research continues to explore lived experience and social realities.
