Oluwatunmise Akinbo

Oluwatunmise Emmanuel Akinbo (known as Žise) is an up-and-coming Nigerian actor, co-signed with House of Illusion Studios. Born in Lagos and raised in Port Harcourt, Žise is a proud Yoruba man from Osun State. At just 24 years old, he has already established himself as a versatile performer with a background in Theatre and Film Studies from the University of Port Harcourt. During his time in the university he bagged the actor of the year award in 2023, an award he was nominated for, for three consecutive years. Žise’s stage experience includes powerful roles such as King Adetusa in Dan kpodoh’s Gods Are Not to Blame by Ola Rotimi, Ibama in Struggle by Dan Kpodoh, Micheal in The Divorce by David Ekpuh, and Pake Chuko in Guerilla Post by Obari Gomba. His work on screen is equally impressive, with credits in films like Amayanabo: The Eagle King as Sobere, Blood Vessel as Soldier, Kill Boro as Graduate Guard, and the anticipated 77: The Festac Conspiracy, where he brings a unique intensity to his role as Mercenary 1. Žise is dedicated to mastering his craft, with a belief that “I can do anything—it might take some time, but I’ll get there.” Refusing to limit himself, he approaches each role with a mindset free of boundaries, constantly honing his skills, from accents to a grounded, authentic acting style. With several upcoming projects with House of Illusion Studios, he’s eager to take on diverse roles and continue growing his career. Beyond acting, Žise is passionate about football, music, fitness, and fashion, including plans for his own clothing brand. Yet, acting remains his foremost love. Guided by his belief in God’s timing, he approaches each day with determination, confidence, and a vision for reaching the top. A personal motto: “Don’t give up—there’s no such thing as ‘can’t.’” Žise affirms daily that he’s destined for greatness, embracing a future without limitations.
