Oswald Hunter
Oswald Hunter’s journey to acting is one defined by resilience, self-discovery, and unwavering passion. Born in a small village in the Netherlands, his early life was shaped by hardship and struggle, including trauma, homelessness, and emotional abuse. Despite these challenges, his determination to rebuild his life fueled his decision to pursue a career in acting later in life. After moving to Sweden in 2015, Oswald embraced acting with no clear path, relying on improvisation classes, online tutorials, and relentless research. He studied techniques from Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler, and soon immersed himself in the world of acting and modeling, which led him to leave his day job and dedicate himself fully to his craft. Through years of struggle, financial instability, and rejection, Oswald discovered that acting wasn't just a career—it was his true calling. His diverse background, which includes time in high-risk security and healthcare, gives him a unique ability to connect emotionally with his characters, bringing depth and authenticity to every role. Oswald’s proudest moments are not only marked by acting on stage or in front of the camera but by his ability to create his own opportunities. Whether it’s through his acting roles, his personal film projects, or his creative endeavors like Offstage Originals, Oswald continues to prove that his dedication to the craft is unshakable. His current focus is his feature film Faces, which he’s directing, acting in, and producing. Beyond his work on screen, Oswald has published two books and continues to expand his creative horizon, with a goal of leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
