Robert Dumont
Robert Dumont is an NYC-based Italian-American stage & screen actor with a knack for portraying charismatic, emotionally layered characters. He’s known for his sharp comedic instincts, expressive physicality, and grounded emotional truth, bringing a true sense of humanity to each character. Robert grew up in Putnam County, New York, where his parents helped found (& continue to run) a local community theater, fostering his early connection to story-telling and performance. With a strong background in athletics, Robert grew up playing multiple sports, ultimately influencing his medical career in Physical Therapy. There, he continues to refine his strong interpersonal & problem solving skills. His recent film work includes the lead in the independent horror feature "Homesick," as an Italian American older brother and boxing mentor, a charismatic bachelor in the romantic-comedy short "Aftermoon", and a morally conflicted detainee in the dramatic short film *Prisoner". His recent theater credits include "Lysistrata"(Man 1, Basement Theatrics) performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, "Nuts" (Levinsky, Brewster Theatre); "Noises Off" (Tim, Brewster Theatre), and an original one-act with Glass Ceiling Breakers portraying a charismatic yet desperate romantic.
