Ross Paul
Ross Paul is a Canadian actor, born in Nova Scotia and now based in Vancouver. At 19, he set out on a one-way train journey to Niagara Falls, where he gained life experience touring in a heavy metal band, apprenticing as a tattoo artist, and pursuing creative outlets before discovering his passion for acting. Ross began his screen career as a background performer on the miniseries Moby Dick, where he had the opportunity to meet Ethan Hawke, Gillian Anderson, Charlie Cox, and Billy Boyd - an experience that ignited his drive to pursue acting more seriously. After moving to Alberta, he worked in the oilfield to save for film school, performing in theatre and securing his first television role on Heartland. In 2011, he was awarded a scholarship to the Vancouver Film School, where he studied Acting for Film and Television. Life took Ross back to Alberta, where he became a devoted single father of two boys, Rylan and Lucas. While working as a videographer, he was cast in the experimental horror phenomenon Skinamarink (2022) alongside his son Lucas, who starred in the film. Directed by Kyle Edward Ball, Skinamarink became a viral sensation and international box office success, earning coverage in Rolling Stone, Variety, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Fangoria, and Rue Morgue. Inspired by the film's success, Ross continued acting with both of his sons, appearing in several independent productions. In 2025, he relocated back to Vancouver with his boys, where they continue to have a successful Acting career.
