Ruby Akubueze

Ruby Akubueze is a Nigerian-born actor, filmmaker, singer, and entrepreneur. Known for her role in MTV Shuga, and in the Netflix original title; Ijogbon, she was nominated for The Future Awards Africa Prize for Acting in 2020 and nominated for Best promising young actor in 2024 for AMMA. Her short film, Rehearsal has won several international awards such as the Luna Valencia Award, Kurtzfilmtagewin Award, to mention a few. She is active in community work with Solace Network and Star Foundation.
