Rydell Downward
Rydell has spent a lifetime in theatre specializing in offbeat, quirky character roles on stage as well as in interactive, first person historical interpretation at themed events. For twenty years he has been the Northern Executive Director of The Guild of St. George, Inc., training actors in characterization and interactive theatrical technique. He has also appeared as a model for a corsetry designer. He learned much of his craft from Dr. Tom Bower at Santa Rosa Junior College and some of the pioneers of interactive theatre at the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire. He currently appears as Charles Dickens at The Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. He’d like to expand into more voice-over, modeling, and screen work.
