Sammy Montero

Sammy Montero was raised in the Bronx and spent his teen years in Puerto Rico, proudly identifying as a Nuyorican. He discovered acting there, performing in a high school production that toured colleges across the island. Returning to New York, he attended Baruch College, earning a B.A. in International Marketing with a minor in Theatre. At Baruch, Sammy trained with Susan Spector in the Uta Hagen method and performed in several campus and independent New York productions. In 2003, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time and has since appeared on prime-time and Spanish-language networks, as well as in multiple films. He is a devoted father of two, and lifelong comic book fan. Guided by his mother’s saying, “todo a su debido tiempo” (“all in due time”), he continues to work toward long-term success.
