Sila Agavale
Sila Agavale is a Samoan-born actor and filmmaker who migrated to San Diego, California, at the age of 15. He pursued his passion for the performing arts by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University between 1989 and 1994. During the mid-1990s, Agavale honed his acting skills on the New York stage, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors in film and theater. His transition into filmmaking was sparked by his involvement in the independent feature film "Alligator Alley" (2000), where he played Kile Taylor. This experience ignited his passion for storytelling behind the camera. Agavale has since directed stage plays, short films, and web series, culminating in his first feature film, "Lost at Desert." This character-driven narrative showcases his ability to intertwine complex characters with compelling storytelling. Throughout his career, Agavale has collaborated with notable actors. In "Gonzo Girl" (2023), he shared the screen with Patricia Arquette and Willem Dafoe. In "Falling for Christmas" (2022), he worked alongside Lindsay Lohan.
