Tareek Lee Holmes
With a career spanning stage, screen, and global live entertainment, Tareek Lee Holmes is a multifaceted performer and creator whose work bridges storytelling, music, and movement. A commanding presence in musical theatre, he has brought complexity and vocal power to roles such as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, the Wiz in The Wiz, Jim Conley in Parade, and Hud in the 33rd Anniversary production of Hair. His range extends from classic rock musicals to contemporary works, including Once On This Island, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and The Who’s Tommy. Beyond the stage, Tareek’s career includes film and television appearances in major productions such as XXX: State of the Union, Imagine That, Blow, Felicity, Boston Public, and Boy Meets World: College Years, as well as international television with Nippon Television’s Nodojiman The World. His work in live entertainment has taken him around the world with Universal Studios Hollywood and Japan, RWS Global, and aboard MSC Cruises. As a dancer trained in African, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and musical theatre styles—and as a high baritone/tenor belt—Tareek brings both physical precision and emotional depth to his performances. In addition to performing, he is an accomplished director, playwright, and songwriter, continually expanding his artistic voice. Based in Texas and New York, he works nationally and internationally across multiple creative platforms.
