Dontreil Leon Edwards-Jefferson, known professionally as Treil Jefferson (TreilJ), is a dynamic actor, director, writer, and producer from Cocoa Beach, Florida, now based in Charlotte, North Carolina. A proud graduate of Florida State University, Treil discovered his passion for performance through school and church theatre, where his gift for storytelling and natural stage presence began to shine. He brings authenticity, heart, and emotional range to every role, connecting with audiences on a deeply human level. As founder of Golden Child Media Group LLC, Treil develops original projects that merge creativity, culture, and purpose, including the upcoming feature When the Black Leaves Fell and the culinary-inspired series That Boi Can Cook. A true jack of all trades, Treil draws inspiration from icons like Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, Martin Lawrence, Tom Hanks, and Robin Williams, using his craft to uplift, inspire, and tell meaningful stories.
